Scam Phone Calls

We would like to make our customers aware that there has been a recent surge of scam phone calls. The scammers claim to be a local broadband provider and are threatening to disconnect the customer’s broadband.

We are aware that you may be receiving scam calls, in some cases with recorded messages. These calls may appear to be from a mobile number or a landline number.  We remind you to be vigilant and to be wary of returning calls to any unknown numbers or giving out personal or financial information.

Please note that Rapid Broadband will never ring you threatening to turn off your Broadband. We advise you to end the phone call immediately.

If you are ever in any doubt, please call your local Garda station.
